Family: 18 Months Old!

Since February 29 only comes every 4 years, and it is Jacob's "1/2" birthday I wanted to post some pictures of him from a year ago. I can't believe how much he's changed. My baby is growing up!!!!!!

Things Kids Say

Mom: "Jacob, we need to get dressed to go to the gym this morning."
Jacob: "No mom. Going skiing member?"
Mom: "Oh, I guess I forgot. Where are we going skiing?"
Jacob: "In the mountains. Find the reindeer and moose. Very far away."

After talking about Dad's birthday coming up in December and while getting ready for bed:
Jacob: "Mom, I have a birthday!"
Mom: "Yes you do. We already had it this year."
Jacob: "Mom, I have a birthday. And Mom have birthday too."
A few minutes later...
Jacob: "Mom, I wanna blow out candles and eat cake!"

At the store checkout:
Jacob: "Mom, don't buy the diapers." And he proceeds to pull them out of the cart and onto the floor.
Mom: "Jacob you have to learn to go potty before I can stop buying diapers. Are you ready to do that?"
Jacob: very adamantly, "NO!" and put the diapers back so we could pay for them.

Jacob: "Mom, you smokin'!!!"

Dad: "Jacob, did Mom pick up all your toys and books today?"
Jacob: "Yeah, thank you mom, I wuv you!"

Mom: "Did you have fun with Liz & Ben last night?"
Jacob: "Yeah, eat chicken!!!"

"Lalalalala lelele" "Pretty song!"

While reading a story together Jacob says, "Amy, cows pease." Meaning find the page with the cows on it.
